Mission: To address the needs of people with mobility difficulties.

Target: The promotion of social protection and improvement of the quality of life of the people with mobility difficulties, creating new perspectives for their social integration.

Target Audience: The program is aimed at people who live in Nicosia and the Nicosia District, who face any form of mobility difficulties.

How to rent a wheelchair and other mobility aid equipment?

Visiting our offices personally and/or by a representative daily from 8:30 -15: 00 pm.

Rental Instructions: The equipment is rented out on a monthly basis.

1.            The applicant must carry his/hers ID card;

2.            A monthly rental contract is signed with the possibility of renewal for each month;

3.            Receipt and delivery of the equipment is the responsibility and at the cost of the applicant;

4.            The applicant is responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness and condition of the rented equipment, and;

5.            The applicant is responsible for repairing any damage to the rented equipment during the rental period.

Monthly Rental costs per Type of equipment:

1.            Wheelchair € 15

2.            Wheelchair with a portable excretion receptacle attached to it € 15.

3.            Chair with excretion receptacle on wheels type COMMODE € 15.

4.            Electric lift € 30

5.            Hospital bed € 20

6.            Hospital bed with manual split and rails € 40

7.            Hospital Automated Bed € 50

The following equipment is available with a deposit of € 15 and without any extra monthly charge:

1.            Crutches;

2.            “Pi” or Zimmer  Auxiliary for walking frame, and;

3.            Walking Sticks.
